A fast read, good for book club converstion

I had no idea how difficult the sport of rowing is,the physical strength it takes to become a rower and the mental connection each individual rower must have to each other to form what they call the swing,
Hitler taking over power in Germany and holding the Olympics in Berlin trying to show the world what a glorious country Germany was and at the same time gearing up for war. It was all propaganda, and the US and other countries would not believe and did not want to get involved in the problems of Europe.
