I so hoped to enjoy this book but alas, it was not meant to be. The writing style was very difficult and the overall effect was to make me feel dumb! The story line was not scary (as billed) and the ending made me look to see who tore the rest of the pages out of my book!

The only good thing I can say about the book is that a) at least I read a "classic" and b) I can check it off the list!

This was a very engaging book; once I stared reading I just wanted to keep going!
