Loved this book. I was able to relate to so much since my grandparents came from Italy through Ellis Island around the same time. It was as if I was reading about my own family. Great characters and quick read.

None of us liked the book at all and spoke more about the flaws of the book than anything else.

Could not put down. Really good book although it was sad. We had plenty to discuss at our meeting.
