How does one begin to describe the horrific events of August 13th 2018...
Reading this book was my first time learning/hearing about this horrendous, heartbreaking and sickening crime. I was struggling to comprehend how a Father/Husband could commit such atrocities to those he was supposed to love and protect.
I was absolutely engrossed in the page by page documented investigation and detailed transcripts from the FBI, and it has made me search for more with this case.
Well done Marcus and Netta on this informative and brilliant account of The Chris Watts Murders, you have truly opened my eyes to the monsters that we live amongst.
Wow where do I start.. this was so not what I expected. This is one of those books that you need to keep reading, it’s gruesome, bloody, gory and completely sick and twisted in parts, but as the story plays out and you get to understand the characters and all the pain and torture they have endured in their lives, you start to understand them and the monsters that live inside them. I loved Jasper he brought light to this very dark book.
I’m glad I kept reading because this story will suck you in like it did me, finishing right at a crucial spot leaving me wanting to read more.
* Read the TRIGGER warnings, this book is very dark!
After reading and absolutely loving book 1 in the Unfinished Business Series “ The Making Of Jonty Bloom”, I didn’t think that it could possibly live up to Jonty’s story or even come close to it, but boy was I wrong.
This angsty and at times heartbreaking story is one of despair, and hopelessness as both main characters Tay and Ink together try to find a life worth living for. Reading Ink’s backstory broke my heart and made me see what a truly incredible man he is, I absolutely fell in love with him, Tay and dog as their story played out.
But OMG!!!!! That ending threw Me for a six... without giving anything away, I can only say it had me very emotional....
5 Stars all the way!!!!!
This book is right up their with my all time favorite reads....
I fell in love with Jonty, he’s lived a life of heartbreak And sadness, but covers this all up with his sarcastic sense of humor and wit. He is a kind and gentle sole, craving to be loved AND Devan what can I say.... he has learnt to see life through Jonty’s eyes and together they both had me swooning. This is my first book to read by Barbara and it won’t be the last, I absolutely loved this story.
I won an ARC copy of this book by new to me Author A.M.Johnson, and once I dived in I could not put it down.. this second chance romance gave me all the feels, longing for Jax and Wild to finally have the life together that they both deserved. It’s a beautifully written story of love, hope, angst, heartbreak and acceptance.
This book is another story up their with my all time favorite reads.
I highly recommend it.
As the two very different paths of Milo and Edward collide, passions ignite... bringing us a hot and very sexy read. But coming from such different backgrounds, it brings about secrets, lies and insecurities as well. This is an absolute page turner of a story, leaving me totally shattered with the ending. I’m dying to read book 2!!!!
Another book to add to my favorites list.
Oh You are in for a treat with this story...
It’s a mostly feel good story between two verrry different Women that bond after a Chance meeting at the local GP’s and become the bestest of friends. You will laugh out loud at the colorful use of language, whilst wishing you had a best friend just like this. It’s an emotional story in parts and it made me cry, but overall I read this story with the biggest smile on my face, as I related to many parts of it.
Love love loved this story.
Ps( I gave this to my 78 year old Mum to read, who laughed and said this book made her day????, giving her the laughs she needed????)
Such a heartbreaking and moving story that was so realistically told. Kaylee has out done herself here, touching on a subject that a lot of us have encountered at some stage in our lives. I absolutely loved Kellie and Lance and Baby Rory just stole my heart... without giving anything away, I’m praying Kellie and Lance get to hAve the life that they both deserve and crave.
Absolutely beautiful... this story had me mesmerized, so beautifully told. I absolutely loved Chase and Jenna and fell in love big time with Lacey and all her very comical 4 year old ramblings, she melted my heart. At one stage I was having a cry for the heartbreak that both Chase and Jenna were faced with and then I was sitting reading with the goofiest smile on my face, as a new attraction/friendship was starting to blossom. This story will be a forever favorite read that I will pick up again and again. Loved it ??
Oh boy was this book so not what I expected. I read this on a flight home and was balling like a baby by 3/4’s of the way in. I absolutely loved this story of Family, love and all the trials and tribulations along the way. I fell in love with Dillon eventually, as he stepped up when he needed too, causing a lump in my throat as his and Michelle’s relationship started to mend. I loved all the characters and the roles they played and was totally thrown off a few times with story line totally going in a direction that I didn’t see coming. Something Wonderful summed this story up perfectly, I absolutely loved it. ??
What a story, as Mitchell brings to light the pain, heartbreak and sense of self loathing as Bianca struggles to find acceptance in a world she doesn’t feel like she belongs in.
This was so sad to read at times as it touches a subject that has become more relevant in society today.
It’s very well written with a very real storyline with characters that drew me in.
I really loved this book.
