We all loved the book. It reminded us of our club, women of all different ages and backgrounds coming together to discuss common interests and share opinions. It covered many of the life-changing events that happen to women, and how they survive.
I thought the book was great. It gives you a lot to think about and appreciate another culture. Even if you believe it is purely fiction, there are many ideas worth discussing.
I find it difficult to read stories about cancer, but this book was enjoyable and optimistic.
Beautiful writing, but very difficult to read. An important book because of what you learn about Africa.
Excellent historical fiction combined with a love story, Hawaiian mysticism, and personal growth.
