This was my first review for this site and I didn't know that the selection of comments was a rating tool. I rate this book a 5 out of possible 5 stars.
I strongly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys historical romances with excitement.
This book is one I have read about 2 times a year. I really like the strong personalities depicted in the story.
Amanda Quick is an all time favorite and she does a great joy of capturing your attention from the very beginning of this book.
The first time I read it I stayed up at night until I finished it.
Be sure and read all the Amanda Quicks you can get your hands on!
Plenty of fast paced action-adventure romance in a historical setting with humor thrown in. You feel like you're right there with the heroine and hero.
Strong leading lady and stronger leading man. (my kinda story)The bad guy you love to hate.Annique is resourceful and strong, where Robert is a hunk to fantasize about.
I felt the suspense strongly as the story unfolds.There is just the right amount of humor balanced with romance to keep you turning the pages.
