Book about native american girl trying to find herself

I felt the book lacked a sense of completeness. The characters lacked empowerment and the ending was rushed. As a first novel it was good but it lacked the maturity of a seasoned writer.

I liked her first, The Tearose better. There was a lot of predictability to the story and similar formula to her 1st Rose book. That being said, it was a great read and very entertaining.
