Informative, Dramatic, Interesting
A woman born into a polygamist cult explains her extraordinary life experiences and how she came to realize that she wanted to escape with her eight children.

Excellent, fast read. Couldn't put the book down.

 
Insightful, Inspiring, Life Changing
An enlightening account of spirituality.

The beginning was riveting. The middle and most of the book, was at times difficult to follow. A lot of concentration is needed. However, I enjoyed the effort to explain and rationalize faith, forgiveness and spirituality. Led for great discussion in our book club.

 
Interesting, Informative, Inspiring
An American hairdresser tries to make a living in Kabul. She teaches the women there a trade so they can be self sufficient among cultural differences and terrorism.

Interesting story, but very disappointed in controversy surrounding book.

Insightful, Dramatic, Beautiful
A over achieving young woman puts her successful career on hold to care for her homemaker mother dying of cancer. Interesting family relationship dynamics, end of life issues.. lots to discuss.

I loved this book and would highly recommend it to anyone.
