My Reviews

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown

Adventurous, Interesting, Dramatic
everyone enjoyed this and his first one

easy, fast read about a discouraged young man who spends a summer with the wealthy taking care of an elderly woman

This book had mixed reactions in our group. Most of us wished that Ellen's character was more developed, that Nathan was somewhat pathetic, and the "wealthy" people in the book were what most people have read about and some have experienced, snobbery.

This book was an easy read and difficult to put down as we wanted to know what would develop. We had hoped that this would've been a true coming of age book, but that didn't happen.

We do look forward to Brian Groh's next book as we think there's possibility for growth.
