Innocent Traitor

Not bad, gives you yet another perspective of King Henry's life. Lady Jane is rarely talked about even though she was the "Nine Days Queen" prior to Mary I and after Edwards Death.

A little too long, The book should have been written shorter. Overall C+

The Boleyn Inheritance by Philippa Gregory
Confusing at First; But worth it in the end!

I actually started my Historical Fiction love affair with this book. You should have some previous knowledge of Henry and anne before understanding Lady Rochford. But, once you get into it, you do! Overall I give it an A

The Dirty Girls Social Club: A Novel by Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez

Insightful, Optimistic, Interesting
Being Locked up in Iran

IT's interesting to see contrast in cultures. But I think for those who are not Iranian it may be a bit boring. C+

Dark, Interesting, Confusing
What an Imagination this Writer has!!

It's more like a bad dream than a book or story. I didn't like it at all.

Skinny Dip by Carl Hiaasen
Fun, Dramatic, Interesting
Chaos and fun to the max!

Fun Read. Lots going on but it flows well enough to understand. Comedic. b+

72 Names? I Wish there were more.

I pick up this book once a month and re-read through it's principals. And I learn something new each time. A+

A book that teaches you how to overcome your fears.

Good Guide. Lacks actual instruction, and dwells more on WHY we need to rid our fears, rather than HOW TO actually rid our fears. C-

A Time to Kill by John Grisham

A thrill from cover to cover A

Insightful, Adventurous, Interesting
Passion; Betrayl; Romance & Intrigue

a novel through generations. A Must read. A

Story of Two Characters living in different times

Objective was good. Poorly Written.

The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger
Cute, Witty & Charming! Geeky Girl Hits Runway !

Keep you interested. Great movie as well. OVerall: B

Deception Point by Dan Brown
Adventurous, Addictive, Brilliant
Action and Suspense in the Cold!

Just as Brown pulls it off in the Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons, and Digital Fortress, yet another suspensful novel. Overall = B

Suspicious by Nora Roberts
Three Romance Novels in One Book

All three were beautiful and delightful. B +

Love Meets Ballet

Very predictable. I'd say a bit cheezy. I am normally a big fan of N.Roberts, but this isn't one of her better works. D+

The Thirteenth Tale: A Novel by Diane Setterfield
Dramatic, Interesting, Dark
An Amazing Tale Eerie and Exciting

Amazing Story! Keep the reader intrigued and curious about the outcome! A+++

Simple Love Story

Book is mainly conversations and witty remarks. Not bad but a bit too long for it's content.

Nature Girl by Carl Hiaasen
Typical Hiassen Novel

Cute and Chaotic! Not bad for when you want a light read that teaches you nothing!!

Scandal and Hollywood!

Typical Jackie Collins book. Always a fun and joy. SCANDAL! B

Boring!! Boring Boring

I usually do my best to not put down a book. But this...I had to stop. It didn't seem to get any better. It was WAY confusing!

The Passion Dream Book by Whitney Otto
Dreamy Romance with lots of detail

Takes you to the time period. Good for the imagination and sells love to your soul.

Interesting, Informative, Beautiful

Very interesting take on the story of Binah, highly recommended!

Not Bad. Sherlock Holmes First Timer here!

Simple Read. Not too thrilling. Confusing at times. Good scenic descriptions though.

Bangkok Tattoo by John Burdett
Unique Story Telling! Funny and Twisted!

Burdett has a unique style of story-telling. He really entices the reader and takes them into the heart of Bangkok. Great for the imagination. Interesting take of government, politics, people and prostitution. B-

First in the series of book on the journey...

Josephine Bonaparte becomes a fascinating character in history once she entices the interest of Napoleon. Prior to that, there's just politics, war, moving etc. This is the first in the series of Gulland's books. Not the most interested at that. D

The Satanic Verses: A Novel by Salman Rushdie
Difficult, Pointless, Unconvincing
WOW! Talk about an author whose Imagination varies all over the board!

Fascinating. Hard to follow, but a must Read for sure. Makes you think, second guess and sulk. Moments of sanity and insanity. Highly recommended. Just, get through the boring chapters and keep going, it's still worth it in the end. A-

The Other Queen: A Novel by Philippa Gregory
Ambiguous drawn out sequel to the Virgins's Lover

The three points of view Gregory choose were melodramatic. The character, Lord of Shrewsberry, couldn't possibly have been any duller. Bess of Hardwick could have been more firey.

And, although this book was written for people to admire and understand Queen Mary of Scotts, I found her appaling. I thought her a very selfish, arrogant, impatient queen.

The best a story CAN be, written in a non-fiction format

Not bad. Boring at times. but you learned a lot more about who she was.

Swift as Desire by Laura Esquivel, Stephen Lytle
Relaxing, Educational and Mysterious!

Had a modern way of making you feel one with the past. A true love story, no bullshit, just realism at it's best :) B+
