The Secret Life of Violet Grant

At times I couldn't book the book down. I would even skip ahead at times to read what one of the characters was going to do next.

The Coal Tatoo

I liked the book. I hadn't read a lot about that part of the country. I learned more about the life of people who lived in mining towns. Sometimes the characters in the book needed to be more believable. Overall I enjoyed reading this book.

I don't read many sci-fic books, so I liked the book. The author could have condensed the beginning, so that she could have developed the last 100 pages better.
