The Almost Moon: A Novel by Alice Sebold
 
Dark, Gloomy, Dramatic
Frustrating, but contains lots of discussion points

I keep waiting for another "Lovely Bones" from Sebold, and unfortunately, this is not it.

I finished the book, so it was not a total waste, but I would not read it again, and I will hesitate to read Sebold's next novel.

 
Slow, Difficult, Romantic
Good book, I did not finish but will soon!
