My Sister's Secret is an easy read but can be confusing as to whose voice you're reading. Some members of our club found the book for free on Amazon prime which is awesome and the conclusion ties up all the loose ends.
The Handmaid's Tale is well written and thought provoking. Confusing at times as the story has now and then sections. If the topic of sex offends you then you probably would not enjoy this book.
Interesting read of then and now and how humans interact with each other. Just when you think you know where the story is headed there is a twist and even the ending is unpredictable.
Perspectives change as you grow up and add to life experiences. The main character, Flora, realizes that the island she left had much value.
