I enjoy historical and historical fiction more, but for a fiction book, it kept my attention and kept me coming back to find out what was going to happen next.

I kept trying to understand his point of view, but the rambling/flight-of-ideas of his writing style and his anger made his points less credible. I listened to the audio book. It was read by the author. That may have colored my experience of the book
