My Reviews
This is a fun book to read written from three viewpoints. It was interesting to see how all three worlds collided.
A brilliantly written novel told from an unforgettable main characters point of view, and she's not a good girl! Loved the alternate point of view as it was a refreshing breath of air.
This book was thoughtful, touching and well rounded. The characters were enjoyable to read as they fulfilled the author's expectations.
This title was chosen before the Book Club realized it was the third in a series. For a high school book club there were several extremely explicit sexual scenes that made several of the book club members uncomfortable. They chose not to finish reading the story. Coming into the series on the third book made it difficult to gauge the characters, their relationships and their actions.
I started Witches of Honeysuckle House as soon as it arrived. The story of two sisters who must learn to work together to battle a curse that struck their family every thirteen years, taking the life of someone they love, for over several generations was a tale well told.
The love/hate between the sisters, the jealousy of each of them of each other was palpable and believable. I enjoyed how the magical element was woven so naturally into the story, making it another character.
The race to the conclusion was heart pounding though I would have liked a little more story for it but perhaps that's because I didn't want it to end.
