Our bookclub gave this book 3 stars - we debated on 3, 3.5, 3.75 and 4 stars and after discussion, agreed on 3 stars. It was a good book and provoked wonderful discussion however it had an unexpected surprising ending that didn't exactly line up with the character development.
Our bookclub liked the book but not as much as the first!

Our bookclub struggled to get through 'The Last Season'. It was detailed, repetitive and not as intriguing as it should have been. Too bad Jon Krakauer wasn't the author of this book!
The book is slow at the start but picks up momentum and gets better and better until the end.
