I did not finish this book, I could not get interested in the story line. I found it unbelievable. Many people in the book group did enjoy the book although most found the ending unsatisfactory.

Poorly Written, Informative, Confusing
The Astronauts Wives CLub

Although this book was a bit confusing with all the different wives and families to keep track of, it does tell the story of a significant piece of the race to space and that is a key piece of our US history.
