The book inspired one of our best discussions yet. Overall, we felt it was very well written and the characters well developed.
We were looking for a light, easy read for the summer
It started a little slow but was interesting and provocative overall. It was indicative of the 1950's immigrant life.
This book was very insightful and informative. The one negative comment from our book club was that the hopping around of the time frame was confusing at times.

An interesting read of two women experiencing love affairs 40 years apart. Their lives intersect at the end of the book as life ends for the elder of the two and a new life begins for the other.
The book was entertaining and provided insight to circus life in the 1800's and early 1900's.
