I read the first Serafina book earlier this year. Highly recommend reading it before this one as it explains Serafina's background.

It's a fantasy story, which is not my usual reading choice, but I enjoyed it tremendously. And a lesson is learned that not everyone is what they appear to be. Suspenseful, and sheer reading enjoyment. I wish I owned it so I could share with my young teen friends.
