My Reviews
Lots going on in the book - characters to delve into & a mystery to solve. My first reading was pretty superficial, but with a second reading I saw how really well crafted the story is. All the characters are believable (if sometimes a bit extreme) - and of course the dog is wonderful! Lost and Found is the perfect title.
A timely topic and not depressing. Very readable (not too scientific). Climate change is there to think about, but there's more to the issue of extinctions. Really a VERY good book - and I'm not usually enthralled with non-fiction.
Chris is a character unlike any I've read about before. Who would choose to live like that? It's a little slow in the middle, but I found it fascinating. I'm looking forward to our club's discussion of it.
I wanted "mind-bending" as a descriptor for the book. Very interesting concept of multi-verses. Wow. It is a thriller.
Sort of an intro to feminism - or at least why the movement was/is necessary. EASY read, so fun, and I didn't know where the author was going to take me, but I enjoyed the ride (read)!
