Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson

Inspiring, Informative, Insightful
The story of how one man can make a difference

This is a very inspirational account of a man's journey to fulfill his promises to a group of people living in one of the least accessible parts of the world. It is particularly pertinent at this time because these tribes live in an area of great upheaval , an area that is very important to us a Americans. It is both a strong hold of the Taliban and the tribes that have lived in the region for hundreds of years , clinging to a way of life that is fast disappearing. It gives insights to the Muslim communities of this region and enables us to see that all people aspire to the same things for their families...education, connection and a loving atmosphere.
