What a beautiful story. Atticus was not the perfect person Scout thought he was and how she deals with it. Wonderful!
Definitely out of my comfort zone but I read it in less than 24 hours. Powerful read about sex slavery but could not buy into bachelor party (premise a bit weak). Love this author!
Great read. Story was unique and entertaining. Characters were memorable.
Follows the lives of three women from the 1930s to 1991 with most of the book focusing on the post war years. Each chapter highlights a different woman, going back and forth in time. Good story, interesting historical details and realistic characters with weaknesses and strengths.
Starts a little slow and then you get drawn into the fantastic story. I couldn’t put it down and then I did not want it to end. My husband is reading it now and is also enthralled by story. A must read.
