It uplifts you on so many levels it\\\'s difficult to know where to start. I could relate to almost every single scenario in this book. Clearly when you think you are going through something alone there are many other women going through exactly the same difficulties and emotions.
Christine has a way of creating characters that make you feel like you know them...and boy, did I want to know Nicolo! I accidentally read this book before her first one, but now I am hooked, so I am sure that I will finish that one this evening....Love the series!

Khalid has weaved an interesting and thought provoking story of espionage and conflict, around the uneasy political situation in Pakistan. He captures the essence of the country and the complex relationships with terrorism, neighbouring countries and the western influence in a readable manner.
Written with true excellence, encompassing multiple perspectives, this novel is apt to leave the reader feeling absolutely drained as the suspense builds slowly and inexorably, achieving some incredible emotional climaxes along the way. I was swept off my feet by this story. There is a naughty side to Dog that leaves you spellbound, he is hard and soft all wrapped into one. I loved that Joci is vocal about her feelings and Dog navigates through them like a champ. Wonderful story, anxious for more in this new series.
These characters, and the intense emotional connection between them, completely drew me in, and I was rooting for their happily ever after.
I really enjoyed this book. It was fun, sexy, and the story line was great. The characters were enjoyable and I loved the passion shared between the two main characters. It was a refreshing change on the usual romance/erotica and I think the Author did a great job!!

This book is Heather and Nicolo's story. We met both of them in Cheating to Survive, the first book in the series. We go on an amazing journey with them as they spend 20 years of joys, heartbreaks, defeats and triumphs. The ups and downs of their journey will keep you breathless and wanting more. What a ride.
The writing style is great. Very descriptive. You actually can feel what she writes. The chapter heading style is one of my favorite in literature.
Don't miss this book. Pick up Cheating to Survive if you have not read it already. You won't be disappointed.
