My Reviews
I so appreciate the honesty Lisa See had when addressing the uncomfortable topic of the treatment of Chinese immigrants. It was moving and incredibly intimate. I was surprised by some of the events and would have liked more closure for the main character.
I feel like I've read this before, just another culture and another time. It's a classic sister rivalry, love/hate relationship story. Somewhat predictable but entertaining.
Loved this book. It reveals the truth of how love not only changes us but reveals who we really are
This was a classic chick lit book. Full of privileged, beautiful people only concerned with achieving happiness through another person. Their real world problems consisted of the awkward encounters with Facebook friends in small coffee shops.
