Boring, Pointless, Unconvincing
Getting Waisted: A Survival Guide to Being Fat in a Society That Loves Thin

Although the book had funny parts, I found it pointless and boring. I felt like she need therapy not a diet.

 
Difficult, Dark
I don\\\'t like my more, and this book didn\\\'t change my mind.

Although well written, I found this book a very frustrating read. Barbara and her many siblings come of age in the sixties with a drunk abusive father and a mother, who seemed unable to protect her children or to leave her abusive husband.

Really good read! Very fast even if it did drag a little in places. Hopefully some of my unanswered will get answered in the next book.
