The Curse of the Beauty

It was a very interesting look into the life of an individual I have never heard of before. It really showed what it was like for women in America 100 years ago and how someone can struggle their whole lives with ideas that are put into their heads.

While I found the book interesting, I did feel that grammatically it was poorly written and there were large portions of the book that were more about people that Audrey knew than about Audrey herself.

Overall, I learned a lot from this book. I learned about art during the nineteen teens, women's rights, how certain thoughts can drive an individual and about a woman who inspired many even though she has been largely forgotten.
