My Reviews

For One More Day by MITCH ALBOM

Beautiful, Insightful, Interesting
Quick & easy read for a short discussion

We found it was alittle hard to discuss the people in this story as it was very short & we had to guess as what we thought about most of the characters. This was an easy read but didn't get as in depth as our other club selections.

The Starter Wife by Gigi Levangie Grazer

Easy, fun story.

This book was a fun read but difficult to discuss. We couldn't find any questions & the characters seemed a bit 2 dimensional. It took me about 3/4ths of the way through to start getting interested in what was happening.

Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd

Great story & interesting discussion

The Glass Castle: A Memoir by Jeannette Walls

Interesting, Inspiring, Dramatic
This book was SO good I had to buy it (which I never do)

I just loved this book so much, I asked the book club if they would mind making it our selection because I NEEDED to talk to someone about it.
We had SO much to say about the book. This was our best discussion yet.
There were just so many different situations in the book we were all engaged in the conversation.
Loved, loved, loved it!

Adventurous, Dramatic, Interesting
Great love story. Slow to start but picks up speed by the end.

Skipping Christmas by John Grisham

Fun, Dramatic, Difficult
Good read for the season but couldn't find many discussion questions

White Oleander by Janet Fitch

One of my favorite books. Tons to discuss with so many interesting characters

Insightful, Dramatic, Brilliant
Great story. Plenty of discussion. I highly recommend.
