Introduction

It’s more than a journal; it's a journey.

Reading can be more enriching when sharing a book with others. Whether you've never participated in a book club, or you're a seasoned facilitator, this Book Club Guided Journal will help you get the most out of your book-club experience. We designed this journal to accommodate a book club with up to 12 different assigned readings and meeting dates.

Smaller than the average notebook, the convenient 7"X10" size allows for a lot of content on each page. This guided journal is a great gift for your fellow book-club participants or the bibliophile in your life.

The Book Club Guided Journal includes the following sections:

  • A GUIDE FOR ACTIVE READING tips to help you fully engage with the text and be a valuable participant during book-club meetings
  • LOG PAGES record specific information about your book club, including the book you're reading, who's facilitating, other participants, and meeting dates
  • CHARACTER SKETCHES fill in details about characters so you can refer back and remember characters as you read
  • READING ASSIGNMENTS three full pages for each reading assignment where you fill in the assigned chapters and page numbers, and then use dedicated space for writing a summary, jotting down quotes, taking notes, and asking questions
  • MEETING NOTES record specifics about each meeting, and take notes during the meeting
  • FINAL QUESTIONS deeply consider the text, and draw connections between the text and the world around you

Our goal in creating this book-club journal was to facilitate thoughtful discussion and enhance book-club meetings by encouraging participants to connect with the text of their chosen book. We envision the journal emboldening readers to become more active in book-club meetings.

We're committed to creating content that inspires contemplation, creativity, and connection.
