Introduction

Despite your outer stature as being powerful and in control, do you internally think thoughts like.... I have to be twice as good. They must have made a mistake picking me I just got lucky I can't afford to fail. Are you experiencing internal self-doubt and criticism that make you feel more like Tigger or Hello Kitty? You may be grappling with a phenomenon known as Impostor Syndrome. Surprisingly, it's people who strive to excel that are most likely to exhibit Impostor Syndrome -including celebrities, trailblazers, students, and entrepreneurs. Women and minorities: You're particularly vulnerable to be grappling with it. Certified life coach Felicia M. Johnson addresses the sources of those thoughts. Inside, you'll find encouragement and methods to begin retraining your mind and establishing habits toward confidence and accepting the fullest version of who you were created to be. At last, confront and overcome the self-doubts and inner critic holding you back from accepting your well-deserved success.****REVIEWS***I did not know what I was getting myself in to here, with reading “Do You Feel Like a Fraud?”, as I’m not normally one to read these types of books. But surprisingly enough I found the easy and engaging narrative style to be extremely interesting, relevant, and quite down-to-earth…. Almost like the author Felicia M. Johnson was talking to me personally at times. I liked how she uses ‘story-style’ to make her points and relate her experiences and ideas in ways that we all can fully and easily grasp – and does so in small doses so as to keep the pacing brisk and not bog us down with boring facts or dry narrative. Quite the opposite – there is a lot of interesting scenarios and celebrity advice in these few pages! Very useful, well-written, and well put together. I can definitely see this as an important book with a message that can help people reduce their self-doubt and insecurities and achieve confidence and knowledge of their worth and success without feeling like a ‘fraud’. (4 stars) Gillian Hancock—Goodreads; Barnes & Noble; Indie Book Reviewers“Do You Feel Like A Fraud…” by certified life coach Felicia M. Johnson has an uplifting narrative with a positive message, and will make you really think and look inside yourself to face your own insecurities and issues when it comes to being a ‘success’ at something. This is what makes Johnson’s message all the more powerful, in my opinion. From what I can tell, this is a ‘must read’ for anyone who wants to understand how to work through emotions and feelings and see things clearer on the path to achieving inner peace, strength, courage, and personal self-worth to know that the feeling of being an imposter or a fraud is one that MANY people go through at varying stages, from all professions, and it isn’t unusual… or valid. In several different places, the author gives very specific advice and details how to better control our thoughts and energy in to a more productive manner, and removing the barriers and obstacle that our own thoughts can place in our heads and hearts—even in ways that we might not even realize. The whole thing was just so easy to read and felt very relatable to me and my life. I’ll re-read this in the future and recommend to my friends and family.
