Eve has no father. An alcoholic mother. Abused at school. A loser. But when the new boy comes to school, things start to change. He's popular, he's good-looking, he's smart. He likes her.

Eve is Wendy's great-great-great-great-granddaughter. And Peter Pan has come for her. Not to save, though.

He wants to kill her. Because that's what Peter does to all the Wendys. And the only one who can save her is a young man, crippled and lonely, named Captain Hook: sworn protector of the Wendy line.

Now, Eve has to uncover the mysteries that have roots in her past, and that will determine her future. Mysteries that will determine whether she lives, dies... or suffers a fate worse than death.
