As a married couple well into senior-hood, Carole is the adventurer, always ready to travel, while Gerry is more than happy to stay at home with his books and community projects, and always reluctant to go on trips. Yet, he did agree to purchase an RV (mobile home) many years ago, and he is quite agreeable to take trips within the USA. When Carole starts talking about traveling to the world's exotic places, Gerry begins his "dragging." Without any input from him, Carole, nevertheless, makes arrangements, knowing all the while that when she gets him there, he will take over and make the visits joyous, informative, and adventurous.
