Introduction

Based on the life of Einstein's first wife, Mileva Maric, this controversial dramatic story reveals the trials and tribulations of the physics prodigy. Suffering from discrimination, she remained in the darkness while helping Einstein win the Nobel Prize. Einstein offered her all the moneys earned from the Prize yet never revealed this secret.

As the coroner opens Einstein's skull and weights his brain, everyone is taken aback : Einstein's brain is 10 grams lighter than a normal brain! Everyone has expect it to be much heavier. A lady from the audience cannot stand the procedure, runs out in panic.

55 years earlier, coming from a wealthy family, Mileva Matic, a young woman starts her first day at the Munich Polytechnic. The only woman to ever be accepted, she feels the pressure to succeed. She is driven and has big goals and dreams. She wants to be remembered for her contributions to science. Her goal is to develop the most outstanding theory.

Her father would love for her to be a normal woman, marrying and rasing kids. They introduce many men to her but only one eventually captures her reluctant heart, Albert Einstein. They invite him home where a discussion takes place about the role of women and men. Men would destroy themselves if women did not exist yet they will not allow women to shine in roles they have decided to play in the world. Mileva hopes that the New Millenium will bring changes

After a passionate night with Einstein, She becomes pregnant which slows down her ablity to learn and jeopardizes her chances of success.

She reluctantly makes the most difficult decision of her life. She give her daughter for adoption. Mileva successfully completes her exam. Yet, when the awards are given, they call her for the second prize. Out of desperation, she agrees to marry Einstein. She becomes pregnant again. This child will be schizophrenic.

Albert Einstein realizes that his wife is on to something big. A revolutionary idea and theory. He picks up her work and, from the intellectual debates they have, writes a few articles that make him be known as a scientist. Einstein convinces her to have him present her work.

In the same time, their intimate relationship is non existant as Mileva refuses to get pregnant again. That leads to their divorce, in order for Einstein to marry his mistress. The first world war coincides their break up. Mileva feels the hardships of war profoundly especially since she is stuck taking care of a schizophrenic child while her ex-husband receives the Nobel Prize for her discovery, never publicly mentioning her name. Einstein gives her all the money earned from the prize asking for her forgiveness.

The second world war digs an even large trench between the two as Einstein, visiting family in the US, stays there, while Mileva has, once again to give up her child, taken by the Nazi.s Einstein, without the love of his life, will go on developing dark theories of splitting atoms. Mileva is broken and will die thinking that her dream of becoming a famous scientist will neer be. Her death coincides with the explosion of the first atomic bomb.

1955, A woman runs out from Einstein's autopsy. A man runs after her and recognizes her ressemblance. Who can she be? Einstein's children have been known to have died. She is Einstein's first child who was abandoned as a child. Liebka wants to reconnect with Einstein's second wife and know who the real Einstein was, a genius or a fraud. She decides to restore her mother's memory among the scientific world.
