To Sea, tells the story of Long Island fisherman Jon Brand, who blames his years of greedy overfishing for the complete absence of life in the local waters. His wife deems this conclusion without merit and urges him to find work on shore to support his family, but Jon has to seek his own answers from the sea before he can choose the right course for his future.
