You always find your mojo in the last place you look for it?

Gloria Dalton was forced into the witness protection program as a teenager and ripped away from her first love. She's spent her entire life looking over her shoulder. Now 30, she decides to move to the small town of Mojo, Louisiana to take over the practice of a dead lawyer and to start her life over, hopefully for the last time. But a welcome gift on her first day of work turns out to be a voodoo doll, and then a horrible death occurs that's too close for comfort. To top her surreal day, the new Chief of Police arrives on the scene and it's her first love, Zane Riley.

During the investigation, Gloria can?t ignore the attraction between her and Zane, but is guilt ridden because he doesn?t know who she really is.
