(After a wedding, Emmy, Niall, and Sita miss their train back to London, escaping Britain's worst rail crash in sixty years and causing them to reevaluate their lives. They decide, along with Emmy's daughter, Niall's girlfriend, and Sita's husband and two children, to move into a ramshackle manor Emmy inherited in Cornwall. In the idyllic setting, they hope to simplify their lives. As house renovations begin, a closely guarded secret threatens to be uncovered. It soon becomes clear that fresh starts have little to do with geography, and escape to the country doesn't mean escape from life's problems. As choices are made and truths come out, will their friendships hold together?
