Palisades Park

I enjoyed this book and its characters. It was not a fast moving book, but it kept my interest throughout. I wanted to know what happened to the characters.

I really enjoyed this book. The storyline was excellent and the dry humor was great. This is not a story to read quickly; lest you miss the bits of writing that make a well written book.

I started to skim this book; then found that skimming still didn't elicit new information so I skipped to the end and still nothing really changed. I do not recommend this book.

This was a very touching book. Bring the facial tissue when you read. Anyone who is in a tough relationship or could see it in their horizon should read this book. And everyone else as well.

The Weight of Him

This book told a families story. There wasn't an epic stand-off or a overall conspiracy. Just a story - it was told well.

While the story kept my interest overall; it also ran much too long. They could have easily trimmed 100 pages out of the book.

It's been a long time since read a book that made me want to fit in only a paragraph of reading if that's all I could squeeze in. I read this quickly because right up to the end I had no idea what was going to happen.

LOVE

I read this book aloud to my teenage boys while on a camping trip. They begged me to keep reading when my voice was giving out. This book was perfect for a family read. The boys were intrigued and the adults were interested. I bawled through the ending. My son, not being a mother, was totally lost as to why I was so emotional. This book is very close to my heart!

Cottage by the Sea: A Novel by Debbie Macomber

Cottage by the Sea

Very simple writing. Extremely skim-able. Knew how it would end by page 6.

Want my time back

I felt cheated that I spend that time of my life reading this book. The positive is in not apathetic about this book.

Can't wait for number 2

While stopping to make dinner I was thinking I really need to get back to that show and find out what happens. I could so picture the setting on the book I forgot I was reading and not watching the story.
