An eye awakening narrative

Thrity Umrigar brings the reader into the life of women in modern day India, wealthy and poor, which is such a huge contrast to the modern day lives of women in America.

Not a classic

The book was difficult to get through, especially the first half. The ending was strange, but it did leave a lot to the imagination.
