Not a really deep book, but still a delightful summer / beach read.
My favorite series ever. The romance of Jaime and Clare is timeless. I've reread the entire series each time a new book comes out, so I've read Outlander 7 times, about to start on my 8th as I get ready for the new book in the series.
Our book club rated this book as a 3.4 on a 5.0 scale. Most of us found it interesting, and thought the descriptions of the characters and the location was beautifully done. The story was interesting, but seemed to end rather quickly...we wanted to know what happened to the characters after the book ended.
This book was written earlier than Alexandre Dumas' more well known books.
Our club enjoyed this book. We ranked it a 4.5 out of 5.
