I am not going to comment on the content of the book and am simply going to recommend that you read it. The book is engaging and I learned about a period of time in American history not that long ago.

What I do want to share is how much my book club enjoyed this book. It was my turn to choose the book which can be stressful. You want people to like the book. Like it we did. So much to talk about between the historical points, the characters and the story line.
