Adventurous, Dramatic, Interesting
A great story that is a fast, easy read. Ms. Gruen's research was evident. Enjoyed by all club members.

I really enjoyed this book. As an animal lover, it was difficult to read at times, and reaffirmed my feelings about circuses and rodeos. Ms. Gruen did a great job researching circuses during the Depression. One of my favorite books this year.
