A fun book. You can get lost in the characters and story line. Walked away with a smile on my face and in my heart.
Once I got through the first couple of chapters, I couldn't put the book down. I was so intrigued with the story line and characters that I stayed up all night reading.
A thoughtful book. Not my favorite book, but a good read anyway.
I got the theme of the book and what the author wanted portrayed, but *yawn* why bother.
The book started off a little slow, but hang in there, it is worth it. Endearing and funny, LeeLee overcomes a northern winter, cowardly husband, and German tyrant with true southern charm. This book shows you can\\\'t keep a good (southern) woman down. Great read.
This book shows you that with the right attitude and determination, life is good.
I found this book hard to read and depressing.
It was easy to become involved with the characters. the author was historically correct and the book written beautifully. It will open your eyes to a world that is thankfully in the past.
One of my top 10 favorite books. I would love to jump into the pages of this book and explore every nook and cranny of the circus.
A great easy, fun read. Enjoyed the characters and really like how the book ended.
