I had to push myself through this book. There are many, many characters and I had to work hard at keeping them in their story lines. Although, it was very easy for me to put down the book between reading sessions (as opposed to books that I couldn't put down because I had to know what was going to happen next), I would recommend it as a book worth reading.
I picked this book because I really liked "First Wives Club" and felt that the writing would be similar. Instead, it was not at all as entertaining and not believable, nor funny. This was a "no thinking" kind of book sort of like a Lifetime Movie (but not as entertaining). Although I gave it a thumbs up, it was only because there isn't a "sideways" thumb. Good beach read. I read it while on a cruise and it served its purpose.
I could not put this book down. I found it engrossing and very emotionally draining. I often find think if I would ever have the courage these women had.
Couldn't put it down, but is not one of my favorite books I've read. The characters pull you in and you can't climb out! Good summer read.
Easy book to read. Kept me interested throughout. At times found myself crying and on the edge of my seat. Did and didn't end as I predicted. There was a twist at the end that was unexpected.
