This is definitely an emotional read. The author is such an amazing storyteller you will feel, smell, and see a beautiful Afghanistan. After reading you feel as if you know the characters personally. It is an inspiring story and at times heart wrenching..about family, mistakes, and redemption. It is not a fast read, but a book to be savored. I love this book and am always waiting for more books from this author.
