I felt this book had good character development. I enjoyed the way it brought different lives together through one single historical event. I knew nothing of the Jewish roundups in Paris and was shocked to learn the horrors of it.

I found it to be long, but an easy read. I thought the character development was good and that ending pulled it all together.
