My Reviews
This book was unlike any I have read. I learned a lot about the Tower of London and the people that live and work there. The best way to describe this fictional book is by calling it 'understated.' I loved it and will recommend it to my book club for this year's reading.
I have a son who lives in New Orleans so I found the tragedy of Katrina very interesting. I'm not sure everyone would enjoy Katrina book like I do if they don't have any interest in New Orleans. I loved this book about the immediate aftermath of Katrina. It was very well written and informative.
I live in Wisconsin. I grew up in rural Wisconsin on a dairy farm. This book just seemed old fashioned and it had way too many discrepancies in it related to living in Wisconsin and on a farm. There were too many times I thought "this could never happen" when I read the book. The characters were interesting though and the author was easy to read.
