The book was written in a way that kept your interest and brought you back to a point in history that really wasn't that long ago! It makes you reflect on how much has changed in our culture to the benefit of women and what a struggle it was in the 60's and 70's. I enjoyed the honesty of their friendship and the way the book captured the thoughts of women during this time. It is a great book for discussion.
This book was a nice mix of history and fiction with a touch of romance at the end that left you with a smile!

I found the book informative and believable. Sometimes flat but complelling which made you want to continue.
Very fun to read and allow the book to take me back to my teenage years! The relationship between the 2 girls was enjoyable to experience as they grew into adulthood.
