Insightful, Interesting, Dramatic
Wow- an amazing book- stays with you long after you have finished

The tile is aptly chosen for there is a wonderful sense of peace that permeates this book. Wonderfully drawn characters, well written with descriptions you can see in your mind. It willl be a keeper for me and I am likely to reread it.

Interesting, Informative, Slow
The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down

An excellent discussion book depicting a very real issue in hospitals in the US. This book describes the difficulty in caring for a Hmong child with seizures when language and cultural experiences clash with expectations.While the descriptions can be heartbreaking, as a pediatric nurse of many years I assure you the issues are very real. This is a thought provoking book.
