The Power of one is a powerful story full of loads of fun which is set around World war 2 .

He gets bullied by a boy named Jaapie Batha who call’s Peekay a Piscop (Red Neck) and forces him into Nazi torture everyday.
Eventually Peekay return’s home to find that his mum has joined an Apostolic faith serving the Lord Christ Jesus and does everything in the name of the Lord and God.
Peekay makes a new friend called Doc, who is a Scientist studying types of Cactus.
One day Doc is taken to prison because he is an unregistered German in Africa while the Africans are fighting the Germans.
When Doc is in prison Peekay meets a man named Jeil Pete, who is a very good boxer, so Peekay learns to box.
