My Reviews
What made the book so inspiring is that it is non-fiction. It makes one think of their own life-changing adventures and how we can live our own lives to the fullest.
This book was more suited for a literary discussion at the college level and not for pleasure reading book clubs. It was not a "light" read but needed to be reread to "get" the book.
This was an inspiring story of survival although it was tragic in the things that happen to our soldiers during WWII. A must read for understanding the WWII conflict in the Pacific. and the impact on not only the soldiers/airman, but their families as well.
