This book is so well written, you will not be disappointed. Get past the first 15 pages and the story takes off...when you are done reading it, go back and re-read the first 15 pages.

The story of a young girl growing up in Germany in 1939 and all that it means to live under the umbrella of Nazism. The characters are beautifully written and the story is touching.
